​When folks talk about reparations I don't see anyone talking about the impact slavery had on Africans in Africa. What the slave trade did among other things was to take most of the young adult men and women and sometimes young children and leaving behind old people.
Think about the effect that will have in these communities after you have removed all men and women of the working age...these communities will tank or will take them forever to get back on their feet. So at the very least African countries need a share of any money going towards reparations.
