Sierra Leonean Wedding

Sierra Leone has one of the most beautiful women in West Africa, if not all of Africa. The most two common way people get married is by doing a formal religious wedding be it Christian or Muslim. This is commonly branded as "White Weddings". The second method is what we refer to as "Traditional" wedding.

White Weddings are usually elaborate and a takes a lot of time and money to put together. This is because of having a bridal party, hall rental, larger guests list, food, entertainment etc.

A traditional wedding is more settle and usually only involved close friends and family. Less expensive and for the Muslims we see more of these type of wedding the months leading to Ramadan, the fasting season. This is because in Islam it is against the religion to live or even interact with your girl or boy friend.

We also do the usual registry married but these are not as common as the two I mentioned earlier.
